Youth Activities
The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in South Idaho offers summer camp for youth in the region. These camps are designed to provide children and youth a setting to experience God's love and grace in their lives, to discover the unique gifts they have, to see and experience the world beyond their own home and community and to discover how God is at work within them. Camp information, including dates, costs, and registration forms, is available on the Summer Camp page. The region also supports a Counselor-In-Training (C.I.T.) Program in conjunction with the summer camps. Those selected for the program are offered significant faith and leadership training during the summer camp events. The goal is to help the C.I.T. grow in appreciation of the summer camp program as well as gain “hands-on” experience. Participants will be chosen based on their ability to meet the needs of the specific camp to which the applicant has applied, as well as the applicant’s willingness and potential to provide future leadership.
